LAT LON 4024 5512 6503 4121

Two very huge thunderstorms just passed through here about an hour ago. It was great.

I left my computer on the whole time. My dad would kill me if he knew that. In fact, he probably will kill me because he will know about it.

Lenny Kravitz is cool.

Graveyard Shift

Behind me rests a dresser with the following things piled on top of it:
  • Two water bottles from Six Flags
  • A Fruit20-turned-water bottle that hasn't been filled since the day I bought it in 7th grade
  • Various brands of gum, two of which people probably have never tried or heard of
  • My wallet
  • Axe and cologne from the 90's that, for some reason, I've been preserving
  • Model of a 1964 Shelby Cobra that's slowly been gathering dust for the past few years
  • Many receipts from EB Games, Best Buy, and other places
  • Packs of pictures I took from the last days of school, starting with 7th grade, as well as one of Acc's parties from last year
  • A few empty Game Boy boxes, probably nesting spiders
  • My iPod
Dare I say it that the final two weeks of summer vacation are nearing. So far, in the past three months, I've managed not to get any sleep before midnight (even though that contradictory; theoretically, I would be getting much sleep before midnight on the following day, but not on the previous day, as one would think.)

Today was as fruitful as always. I spent about a half hour or so at Doug's this morning. We both crashed last night at 1:30, and planned to wake up early so I could get out of there at a reasonable hour. Needless to say, I overslept. After leaving his house, I had to serve a wedding mass at my church. The bugger was that I was the only one serving, as that's how the whole church staff planned it. Of course, the bride and groom were people I've never met before, yet the groom and various people on both his side and the bride's side of the family seemed to know me from times where I was drumming somewhere. The good thing about that whole wedding was that both parties tipped me $20, which half of the said amount later led to replacing a PS2 controller. Other points of the day included seeing Fro actually working in a controlled establishment (i.e., Burger King), and spending some time talking to my esteemed female collegue from 200 miles south of here.

As usual, it's late. I have two summer reading books to plow through before school starts. Go.

Killer Wasps

ACT ONE:
So here I am spending yet another night at Doug's house. We watched The Day After. Cold War-era movies about nuclear war = supreme.

Doug's dad proved to be not-so-supreme at killing wasps, especially when his method of death involves him slightly tapping his target with the sole of his sandal. The infantry, consisting of Doug and I, failed miserably. Friggin' wasp.

ACT TWO:
After an intense round of Battlefield 2 with Doug, his dad, and myself, me and the president watched Kill Bill Vol. 2 and forced ourselves through some of Jurassic Park 3. What a bad movie, honestly.

We were gonna play Counter-Strike. We might still. Right now we're contemplating over music.

Oh, and we got that wasp. And it's smaller bretheren. Take that, Doug's dad.

So yeah. Blog.

I made this thing over a year ago. Posted in it twice and forgot about it. So, now I decided to make it better.

I ordered a new pair of glasses today. My current pair will hopefully get transformed into sunglasses.

Doug and I jammed today for the first time since March. We have a lot of work to do now. We might have a bassist, and we definitely need a singer. We do have a place to record, instead of the standard shitty tape recorder and $2 microphone.

It's late.
